Dearest Maureen, and Mike;

Michael was a legend of the Hire Industry and one from whom at one time or another we sought counsel, guidance or inspiration from. He was an astute businessman, and always got the balance right between running his business, and his customers.

He inspired a great team (both Laois Hire and HSS) and brought on the next generation of Hire Industry Leaders.

He will be remembered fondly by all, and from Sisk we are grateful for all he did to support our projects in both Ireland and the UK over the years.

A giant of a man for his knowledge, drive & work ethic. He had great pride in his work & business. Michael was a decent man & fair, generous to all. I gained valuable experience working for Michael & Maureen in Laois Hire Portlaoise over an 11 and a half year period. I have great admiration for them both and all they have achieved. I was deeply saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. His loss is both shocking and heartbreaking. He was not only a remarkable colleague but someone I held in the highest regard, as a professional, a mentor, and a genuinely kind and honest man.
He supported me in ways I’ll never forget, and I always valued the open and honest conversations we shared. His integrity, warmth, and generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on me, as I know they did on many others.
My thoughts are with Maureen and Mike, friends, and loved ones. I hope they find comfort in knowing how deeply respected and admired he was, and how much of a difference he made to the lives of those around him.
He will be missed greatly, and remembered always.
