Our sincerest condolences to Suzanne, Anthony and Michael on the loss of your beloved Dad. Mick was a person with buckets of humanity. Strong, supportive, non-judgmental, generous, funny. We will treasure forever the painting he made for our little daughter, Fleur - 'Hello Kitty on an Airplane'. And we are grateful for the gifts he gave our children. His creativity, kindness and warmth touched us all and made this world a better place. May he Rest In Peace.

My Uncle Mick was one of the kindest funniest thoughtful and interesting persons I ever knew....He was the cornerstone of what was the happiest of childhoods anyone could wish for....He made up funny stories and put them on a reel to reel....he was so artistic and great for giving advice .....he was a one off.......A true legend.....

Always have fond memories growing up on Mourne Rd of the childrens day games and celebrations your mam and dad arranged for everyone, they were so kind to us all. We are all saddened and grieving over the passing of our brother-in-law and uncle. He was such great fun and always had a saying for the day on the wipe out board. He loved life, and enriched all of us with his humor and antics. Even through we are miles apart our hearts are with you Suzanne, Anthony and Michael. We have all been blessed to have known him and having him part of our lives. God bless you all and may you be reassured that he is no longer in pain or suffering and that will help you through this very difficult time.

Mick was my mentor who was always there for me. Taught me so much about Karate and life. We had great times, great laughs, great memories and i was blessed to share some special times with him over the past few weeks through his illness. At least he is with Julie again. Such a lovely person who I called my 'Karate Da' and he called me his son, such was his brilliant sense of humour. My sincerest condolences to Suzanne, Anthony & Michael
