My condolences to the Lonergan family. My Dad, Jim Fitzgerald of 12 The Folly (RIP), talked very fondly of Michael who he knew since they were boys. Jim enjoyed how himself and Michael were outlasting most of their peers.

It is always a sad moment when you have to say goodbye because it also marks the end of an era in which you were children of your parents. It is nice to know that Mary was waiting for him with open arms. They have both found their peace and rest. Life has not always been easy for him and Mary, but remember the many beautiful and special things about him and tell them to your children and friends.
