Was deeply saddened to learn of Micks passing. I knew Mick from my days in Heuston on the dining cars Later in life we crossed paths again when I was a bus driver.
Mick was always funny and full of joy whatever his form.
May god provide you with the best bed he can and my you rest in eternal peace.

I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Anne Marie, Claire, Mick's brothers and sister and the extended Mahood Family on the sad passing of Mick. Also to Mick's railway family especially all his colleagues in Heuston Station. I first met Mick the day I joined CIE over 40 years ago. We worked together in the Station Master's Office. Mick was full of fun, laughter, kindness and very helpful. This was reflected in all the positive messages sent into the Rail Brief over the years from the many members of the public Mick helped out. Gone but not forgotten. Light of Heaven to you Mick where you are now reunited with your beloved parents to live in eternal love. RIP - Jennifer.
