Michael Malone

Sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. I was a former pupil of Sullivan’s Quay Christian Bros and Miss Lynch (Our Lady of Lourdes) with him. We were both offered a scholarship to Christians. That was a long story and a long time ago. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Michael. We had wonderful times together in Dame Street. He was a through gentleman, a good friend and an excellent musician. Not a bad golfer either.

Sincere sympathy. I worked with Mick in Dame st in early seventies. Great musician, we tried to play four hands on the piano but he was to good, he is a great loss to you all.

My sincere sympathies to all the family. I had the pleasure of working with Mick in AIB on two occasions, in Stillorgan in the early '80s and in Dun Laoghaire in the late '90s. Like any Corkman and Kerryman, the slagging was something else. A thorough gentleman, RIP Mick.

So sorry to learn of the sad passing of Mick Malone- a gentleman from AIB Dame street. Also a great keyboard player. I went to see the Stylistics with Mick in the RDS in 1975. The support act Van McCoy cried off before the gig and Mick played the keyboards for the replacement support act. They were better than the Stylistics! My favourite memory of Mick.

I am so sorry to hear of Mick's passing, we had such fun working together in AIB back in the 90's. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and may his very gentle soul rest in peace.
