With great sadness I learned of Mick's passing. My memories of him go back over 50 years not only as a work colleague but many a fun night night I had with him and indeed his late father. My condolences to all his family. May Mick rest in peace.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mick, RIP. We were former colleagues in DSP and he was always full of fun and good humour. He was upbeat even when he was recovering in the NRH in Dun Laoghaire. Great credit is due to those who cared for him there, in the Swinford Care centres and to all who cared for him, as he seemed very happy over the past few years. My sympathies to his family and friends. Rest easy, Mick.

I worked with him different times when we both worked in the Dept of Social Welfare and we always got on well. He was a great character and a very caring person. I was aware of his
health challanges and we did keep in touch over the years since we both retired but he always remained positive.
