I'm so very sorry to learn of Michael's death. He was a true gentleman. My sincere condolences to Kathleen and all the family. May Micheal Rest In Peace.

I wish to express my sincere condolence on the calling to his eternal reward of Michael, we were away and only found out yesterday from a neighbour.

Michael was such a lovely Gentleman, very well respected in our parish.

Michael was always so interesting to talk with, and could speak on almost any subject, he had such a warm and welcoming personality, and more gentle soul you would not meet.

I am so truly sorry for your loss, and sorry too not to have been able to attend his funeral.

May all your many happy menories, Family, Neighbours, and good friend's support you all at this very sad and difficult time.

May Michael's gentle soul now rest in peace, and shine brightly in heaven.

Only heard yesterday evening from Willy Edwards the very sad news of Michaels passing. I'm very very sorry Catherine on your great loss. I worked with Michael in Bolton St. and found him to be very helpful and a true gentleman. On retirement he goined DITARA and joined us in the Tenpin bowling group. I got to know Michael in a different capacity, someone who enjoyed life and the pleasures it brought. Rest in peace gentle soul, you will be sadly missed.

I worked with Michael a long time ago in Bolton Street. Although a strict Manager, he was fair and gave me some good advice as I started my career. I also met and worked with some of the family in DIT at times, condolences to the family.

His determination and attention to detail was always mixed quixotically with his shrewd, helpful and practical advice, which in turn, reflected his warm, rich personality. I first met Michael more than 45 years ago when family marriage bought us into a wide extended family. In the interviening years whenever we met up, Michael always remained the same: he was warm, welcoming, sincere, thoughtful and kind. His passing leaves a void in the family circle that is bigger than the man.
