It was with deep sadness I learnt of the death of my old friend Michael .
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this very sad and difficult time .

Even though I have not met Michael in many years ,
I still have very fond memories of his wonderful humor and company.
In August 1966 we set sail in an ancient rusty Morris Minor
for our first "non family " holiday with about £20 each.
We took Salthill by storm and when the cash started to dwindle mid week ,
we went to visit.... "we were just passing"...relations in Ballina who Michael charmed
and we were kept like royalty for free till Sunday !.
