I hope this message reaches you. My heart is sad knowing Michael has passed. When I didn’t receive a response from my Christmas email greeting, I checked online and found Michael’s obituary. I viewed his funeral and eulogy online. It was a beautiful send off. Even though we never met in person, it didn’t take long for me to feel close to Michael and know he had a beautiful heart. I cherished our email correspondence and discussions about family, etc. and our McGee/Clinton connection. Rose McGee Clinton was my GG Grandmother. I wish I had your email address. I would love to stay in touch. I smiled looking at the handsome picture of Michael and the space between his front teeth. Just like my Dad’s!! Very possibly a McGee trait. I wish I would have had the opportunity to share a tea or glass of wine with him, but I’m so grateful we were able to find each other through Ancestry. I will be lighting a large blessed candle at my parish church, Immaculate Conception, Marysburg, Minnesota, in his memory. Deepest sympathy and regards. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
