My condolences to all the McGraths on the sad loss of Michael. Mike and myself left Araglen in the summer of 1967 for London. Mikes uncle Bill Gibbons soon got us work with him,and we both lived together in a flat,for about six months in Manor Park . Mike was a lovely person, and we got on great together. He was a great decent man and was very good to me as my mother had died a year or so before we left home. I kept in touch with him by phone,and enjoyed our chats. Rest in peace Mike.

McGraths were fantastic employers in London. Gave us jobs and looked after everyone who came their way. They built up a massive company when times were hard.
They also knew how to throw a party, but you would still be expected to be on time the morning after. Good times.
