My sincerest condolences to all Eva & Austin, and all of Mike's family and friends and all who loved him.
My heart is truly saddened.
Through him, I had the opportunity to meet Eva & Austin during a trip to Ireland. I had the pleasure of working with him. Even though I returned to the states, we remained in contact.
Mike was the most travelled person that I know and I was always fascinated by his adventures. He was kind, sharing and supportive. In our last email exchange, you joked with me and said "we always knew I was special". Although we were discussing a serious matter, you found humor.
Yes, dear friend, you were special and one of the most kind and generous people that I have ever met. I will miss you but will think of you often.
Rest now, we will meet again.
So sorry Eva, to hear your sad news ,may he rest in peace .
Sincere sympathy to our good friend Eva, Austin and Mike’s nieces and nephews on his sad passing. Thinking of you all during this sad time. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
May he rest in peace. I had the privilege of working with Michael for about 9 years. Always a smile on his face and a pat on the back from him. Honestly, he had no enemies as he was loved by all. He will be missed.
Sincere sympathy to Eva, Austin and all the Durack and McInerney families on the death of Michael. May Michael rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to Eva and family. I knew Mike from years ago when I visited his Mother Kathleen. My Mother (Nora Ryan Glynn) was a good friend of Mike's Mother years ago. We knew each other in our younger years and got in contact later through Breda Shanny-Barnes. May he rest in peace.
To the family and friends of Michael McInerney,

I had the honor and privilege of working with Mike for 4.5 years in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was a gentle soul and good friend. I have a lot of fond memories of him. May God keep him in the palm of his hands always.

Until we meet again my friend. One short sleep and we wake eternally.
