We have a lost a legend of a man in Ballymote, way too early in life. There are so many children who had the opportunity to participate and compete and win in so many different sports and at so many levels, who may otherwise have never had the chance to do so. He gave tirelessly of his time across two generations of children. May he rest in peace.

Karen and family I’m so so sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. He gave so much of his time coaching our youth. Every year for months on end hail rain or snow Michael and his teams were on the pitch. Over the years they brought many a medal back to the town. We have great memories from Mosney and Athlone, the kids loved him he was one of a kind, he loved the banter. May Michael RIP. Our thoughts with you all at this very sad time.
