Im very saddened to hear of Michael's passing, I got to know him near 40 years ago when he lived in Dundalk, and he was a dear friend, and we had the pleasure of been at his wedding to his beloved wife Mary, thinking of Mary at this sad time and praying for God's peace and comfort been with her. Michael was a brilliant electrician and a wonderful person; we would sit around the kitchen table having tea, chat and a laugh when he came to do a job. He will be sorely missed - one of life’s true gentlemen.

It was with great sadness I heard of Michael’s passing. He was a lovely person who was blessed with the gift of the gab. He did work for me, he was a perfectionist. My condolences to his wife Mary, his sisters Kathleen, Mary, Clare,Teresa & his brother Brendan and to all extended families. I’m sorry I was unable to attend the funeral as I was away.

Michael was one of the nicest people you could meet, always going out of his way to help others. It was a pleasure to get to know Michael and listen to his stories while he worked with us in our house. We will miss seeing him around Galway City.
