I have fond memories of Michael when I worked at Windsor in Rialto back in 1977 to 1980 , I went walk about for 2 months to the US and Canada during a strike that was happening in 79 . When I came back to Dublin I was informed by the service manager that I was sacked . I came by to pick up some papers when low and behold I meet Michael coming down the stairs , he greets me with a big smile , puts him arm on shoulder and we walk back to his office . We spend the next half hour talking about where I travelled to and the same spots he was . He then asked when I was ready to get back to work , I informed him what I was told , he laughed and we went down to the workshop where in a loud voice he tells everyone the PRODIGAL SON has returned , as a 19 year old city kid at that time it was pure magic , a class gentleman .

I was so Sad To Hear of Michael's passing today, in shock. A Private Gentleman Michael O'Reilly and a Legend in the Irish Motor Trade, Windsor Group, and Merlin Car Auctions, a legacy I am sure he is proud of, carrying on in his footsteps are Merlin, Patrick and family. Brendan Fassnidge's best pal Michael O'Reilly, they were always there for each other through the good times and bad times. Most importantly I will always remember the happy times and Michael O'Reilly's Legacy will live on. Rest in Peace Michael, Clark Fassnidge.
