I had some great chats with Mick, and invariably the conversation would turn to football.
His passion and insights became evident early in the conversation.
We did reminisce on some encounters on the pitch. We did remark that the first cousin relationship, had to be put to one side for at least an hour.
Micks exploits concentrated around mid field controlling the skys, and if he did not always get possession his opponents didn't either.
Mick wore his heart on his sleeve in all aspects of his life, his commitment, dedication, and caring for his family had no boundries
He leaves you all with beautiful and enriched memories which will please God help to sustain you with your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Micks passing, thinking of you all at this sad time Colette, Sarah, Damien, Laura, Michelle, Elizabeth & Colette.

I was lucky enough to have Mick as my neighbour & privileged to be able to be guided & mentored by him particularly when it came to playing football. His character, determination & personality were conducive to encouraging me to focus and hone in on my skills and abilities on the field. Will miss the after match analysis too!
