My sincere condolences to all of Michael’s family. I knew him from the parish centre in Prussia street . He was a true gentleman and would never pass me by without speaking. I am very honoured to have known him. May he rest in peace. Dervilla Mahon. Formerly Mahon’s shop Prussia Street.

To all Micks family and friends as an x neighbour of the Byrne family in Ballyfermot I would like to pass on my condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of bumping into Mick on my rounds as a postman in Ballyfermot where he worked. He never changed, a true gentleman (always) May his gentle soul rest in peace. 🙏

So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Mick, remember him from when I used to go into Burke's joinery when the men would order rolls etc. That was over 25 years ago. Mick always had time for a chat and its what I remember most about him, he would never pass me by. RIP Mick, its your time to rest.

So sorry to hear of Micks passing, he was a lovely soul, so talented and skilled. More than that he was a loyal friend and it was evident in the relationships he held. He was valued and treasured by so many. My heart goes out to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all. No words will lessen the grief or sense of loss, but we will think of Mick often and hold him in our hearts. We will be reminded of his laughter in the coffee shop, the quiet where his tools used to sound and his craftmanship everytime we open a press door. Even more, Mick will be remember as being a sincere, solid person who made a lasting impression on everyone he met. 'For the soul there is neither birth nor death, nor having once been does he ever cease to be'. Rest in peace Mick.
