To the extended Crotty family I am so sorry to hear of Micks death. I never met him but admired him as an outstanding and skilful hurler. He had a brilliant final 50 years ago in 1975 the pass he gave to my idol Eddie Keher for Kilkennys goal early in the second is one of my great memories. May He Rest in Eternal Peace.

I was sorry to see of Mick's passing sincerest sympathy to all the family.l played a few games with the Village in 72/73 and l can recall one l played against Oulart the Ballagh and Mick was on Mick Jacob and they went at it as if it was an inter County game. Mick gave his all in every game and never a backward step.These were happy times in the Village always someone in the field. I enjoyed a few chats with Mick may he rest in peace

So sorry to hear of Micks passing i remember him playing and seen him in the 72 Leinster final and all ireland to me the greatest all Ireland of all time he was a star on and off the field May he rest in peace
