I met Michael at the Don Bosco Summer Camps in the early eighties, a gentleman with a huge heart and care for young people. I experienced his support and kindness at Maynooth and Pallaskenry as a young student. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Condolences on the death of Michael. I have happy memories of my fellow Corkman. Mick did tremendous work with the traveling community, had that Cork sense of humour and was a pleasure to work alonside.

In our 20's Michael kept me sane in Pallaskenry and in the Salesians in Crumlin and Maynooth. He was a gentleman and always helpful (even in his early twenties). He believed in people and he could see the funny side of difficult situations. Life took us on different paths but he was a good companion when it really mattered.

My sincere condolences to all the Crowley family on the loss of Michael. I had the pleasure and good fortune to be with him in Noviciate and Maynooth. Michael was great company and a true gentleman. He will be missed by many Salesians and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
