You would certainly earn every ball if Mick was your marker. Mick gave great service to Boherbue Gaa club as a player and was one of the unsung heroes who put a lot of time and hard work into the preparation for the opening of the local Gaa grounds. Rest in peace Mick.

He loved to sing and enjoyed always the sing song in the Corner House bar. Rest in peace Mick in your bed in heaven.

Sincere sympathy to Jerry, Peter and the extended Daly family on the sad passing of Mick. He was one of the most genuine and hard-working man you could ever meet. Nothing was a problem to him, he just did it. I have good memories of him from when he worked on Danny Casey’s farm in the sixties to the times when he used to come to the matches in Dublin in sixties and the memorable trip to New York with the group from home in the late seventies. My last good memory of Mick will be of a visit to the nursing home where I coaxed him to sing a song and which he duly obliged with “For these are my mountains and I’m going home.” Mick is now gone home and resting.

Sincere sympathy to Jerry, Peter and the extended Daly family on the sad passing of my good friend, Mick. As honest as the day was long, Mick worked hard in construction and the building of hay sheds, played hard on the football field and ran hard on the cross- country tracks around Munster. He loved nothing better than a good sing- song in the Corner House at weekends. To quote a line from one of his favourite songs:
"For these are my mountains and I'm going home"
