Sincere sympathy to Jeremy, Derek, Anna-Maria, his daughter-in-law Annelise and son-in-law John current club mentor & all the Devine family on the passing of Michael (Mick to us all).
Mick has been a stalwart member of Kill G.A.A Club nearly all his life. He was heavily involved in the revival of hurling in the club when it reformed in 1970 after a laspe from 1938. He was always cool & calm in all circumstances, a great ticket seller canvassing every house in the village and beyond to raise club funds, and a great man "on the gate" for many years.
We fondly recall his quiet but efficient influence at Committee Meetings where the pipe would be getting the odd draw even though it mightnt be lit. Mick was also involved at underage development level mentoring many teams over the years.
He will be sadly missed by all who got to know him over his many years involved in the Club but particularly by his family.
