Only reading of Michael's passing (Thursday night) so apologies to Mandy and the Dowling family for missing his funeral. Michael was a great friend and neighbour. We were particulary close way back in 1970. I remember that summer going back with Michael to see Inchicore were he lived before moving to Crumlin. Ah, those innocent days of climbing on factory roofs, playing football in the circle, scutting the buses, and going to the flicks. And of course later playing football for the Concorde with a great bunch of lads. You will always be in my heart and mind.
