What a great guy Mike was. Sincere sympathy to his wife Nancy and family, Maura, Carmel and their families on this very sad occasion. Doyle’s yard soccer with Mike and Carmel was a big part of our youth. Mike was a great Limerick FC player and specialised in scoring goals from corners and had 5 international caps for Ireland in a career curtailed by leg injury in the cup final in Dalymount against Shamrock Rovers. A gentleman to meet and chat about our neighbourhood friends. Our families were lifetime friends.
