I left Athboy 40 years ago. An abiding memory of my time there was the enthusiasm of the founding members of Athboy RFC. Mick Gaffney brought a wealth experience to the group. No matter what happened , Mick was always in good form , full of witty and side-splitting expressions . A man for all seasons, rest in peace Mick, remembered with great regard.
