I was sad to hear of Mick's passing and I offer my condolences to his family and close friends. I knew Mick from his days in Cummiskey's and it is no exaggeration to say that he made the place what it was. He had a permanent smile on his face and you couldn't help but be cheered by his presence. He was a legend to us 'young lads' in those days and I have lots of great memories of the man. May he rest in peace.

mick was one of the nicest men you could ever meet he was the first man i met when i started working in the bar game as a young apprentice in the turnstile pub back in 1991 he was a great manager and we had some great times there he was a legend of the trade, he will be sadly missed
