Mick made me feel at home at the basketball club even though I was joining as an outsider. He was a good player and a good guy. Condolences.
I have known Mick for the past six years supplying golf prizes for the yearly golf outings he organised for Irish Life and The IAPF. I just heard today of his passing and have to say I am totally shocked. We only ever met about once or twice a year though he was the nicest person to deal with. I was sick myself three years ago and he was so good to me. I will miss him.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Sincerest condolences on Mick's death. I worked with him many years ago and remember him for his great kindness and sense of fun. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to the family and close friends of Mick. I had the pleasure of being in his company a few times over the last year and he really was a very nice man. He will be a huge loss to the golf world.
May he rest in peace

We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Mick's sudden death. He was such a great man, loving husband, wonderful father, basketball fanatic, friend and mentor. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all today. He was a giant of a man both in stature and in his selfless dedication to basketball. Mick's spirit will live on forever. It was just too soon...Mick will be sadly missed.
Marguerite, Daniel, Conor & Stephen. I was so shocked to hear the news. Mick was such a good guy. He was an inspiration to me and many many others and an even better boss! I'm so glad that we never lost touch and I will sorely miss him. My deepest sympathies to you all at this time. May the angels shine upon you with love, light and blessings for the future. Fiona....

Dear Marguerite, Conor, Daniel & Stephen. We are all so sorry and shocked here in Perth, Australia about our Uncle Mick. Mick the 'Messer' as the lads called him. Very appropriate for him, but I think he enjoyed it! Our thoughts and love are with you all. Just sorry that we can't be with you, but only so glad that we got to see him in July. Such great memories we will always have of Mick.
Love to you all and you will be our thoughts over this very difficult time. Love Clare, David, Michael & Mark XXXX

We have all lost a heart and a sole that was always so honest and pure. Mick was the best example of what we all should be.
My life will always be the better for having known the James Family. You are all brilliant people and I just feel your pain. I hope that you can find peace.

Sincerest condolences to Marguerite. Conor, Daniel and Stephen. Mick made me most welcome when I joined Templeogue BC and I enjoyed playing and coaching with and against him in latter years. I never knew him to be in bad form - the world will be a worse place without him.
Our deepest sympathy is sent to the family and relatives. Conor and James who we got to know through basketball, keep your dad's spirit going as you play. May you all be blessed with the strength to pull through this sad time. Caroline, Dave and Keith Anderson
