Especially the time when I went to Coronation street with you and Helen. And only talking last week about the bed you made me in the box room to make more space. I had the privilege of working with Mick for over 20 years and I will be forever grateful for all the help he gave me in school and the DIY help in my home in Ashbourne. Without fail Mick would have blocks of milk waiting for me after school to bring home and my children lovingly refer to him as Milkman Mick.

In his many years spent as caretaker of St. Joseph's school Mick not only cared for the building but also for the staff and children who came and went.
Mick worked quietly in the background , never seeking praise or recognition.
While he may have been frustrated at times with teachers requests he never showed it!
He always had a friendly greeting and was loved by all.
