Although his death was expected, it still came as a shock. Mick Kenny was best man at our wedding & lifetime best friend. He was an integral part of a small group of friends from east of Ballinasloe who grew up together and have remained loyal to each other to this day although all went in different directions. Mick served the state but found the role unfulfilling. He started two businesses - haulage & landscaping - which suited his love of physical labour and satisfying his customers. He did well with both. May he rest in peace. Deepest condolences to Joan, Fiona, Noel, Mary, Katrina & their families.
