I worked with Mick for many years in Dataproducts and over the years would pick him up in the mornings on the way to the factory. While I picked Mick up, Mick would pick me up with his ever uplifting, smiling happy disposition. I have great memories of playing football with Michael during our time in the Defence Forces, and over the years since as a neighbour when it was a pleasure to enjoy his great company socially in the ABFRC. He was a stalwart of our group who enjoyed many golfing trips abroad over the years, and when we share memories of those great times Michael will certainly play a very big part in them. Michael will be very much missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. May he Rest in Peace.

Phil I am so sorry to hear about Michael, he was an absolute gentleman, kind and considerate to all, thinking of you, Ali, Michael, Moira, Colin, your extended family especially all your grandchildren whom he loved dearly and I know they loved him as well.
