It could have been a song by Nana Mouskouri , or a racing commentary from Peter O’Sullivan , or Lester Piggott riding the last 3 furlongs of the Epsom Derby , but always to perfection.
To watch him as a child, on those great Ardrahan Teams of the 70s is something I will never forget.
