Sincere condolences. Fond memories of visiting with Mick and the dogs in Netley and Moyvale, and hearing him play. He was always so kind and generous, sharing his time and talent with us, especially when he hosted a gang of us fiddlers from Boston in his workshop a few years back.

We were very sorry to hear of Mick’s passing. Our sincere sympathy to all the family at this very sad time. Mick attended many of our festival events and sessions in Ballintogher over the years and he launched his CD “ The musical Blacksmith from Derrylin” at the County Fleadh in Ballintogher on 1st June 2002. Mick a craftsman, fixed many an instrument for his musical friends. He was man of great humour, also witty and funny and we had many laughs from his stories.
