Even though I didn't know you well, I have nothing but the fondest memories of you calling into where I used to work in Kilcock. You always had a huge smile on your face, and you would have me in stitches telling me little anecdotes about your family. My dad and brother had a tradition of heading into "Mick the Barbers" for their Christmas haircut, and this year my whole family noted with sadness, the end of that era. It is so poignant that we often mentioned in our short conversations the deaths of people who left us too soon in the local area, and now here I am writing my condolences for you... Makes me very sad, but I hope that you are at peace now Mick. Sending prayers to all of your family. Rest In Peace Mick x
god be with you mick

We only heard the sad news today. Michael was our neighbour and the groomsman at our wedding nineteen years ago, we loved his sense of humour and generosity of spirit. Even though we lost contact over the years we were so lucky to have known him. He will be remembered fondly within our home. Our deepest condolances go to his children and family at this time. So sorry.
Our sincere sypmathies to you Dympha Len and all the family on your recent sad loss. Anna and Michael Byrne

We were very shocked & saddened to hear of Mick's sudden & tragic passing. He was a shining light in the town. Please God the family will find strength at this incredibly difficult time.
Mick, going to miss you about Kilcock, you really were one of the true characters - you brought a smile to eveyone's face whether it be your watering skiing on the canal, your mad cap ways of transport - canoeing to work during the summer & dog powered skateboarding! Having a pet duck when the rest of us made do with a dog! But above all Mick you made time for everyone and always shared a chat and a laugh with young and old. You're going to be missed so much. My thoughts are with your family at this time, I pray they will have the strength to deal with your passing. Be happy Mick - for God knows you made so many people happy during your short life x
