God Rest my late Father's, Philip Clarke Snr's brother, my Uncle Michael Clarke who was sadly laid to rest today, Michael was a strong powerful character full of beans, and was always a live wire and you always felt good around his energy, my Dad was very fond of him. I can recall once upon a time driving in a car and it was just myself and my Uncle Michael and we drove past some gravity wells and he explained to me what they were and how they worked, he was an intelligent man, and someone who loved and supported Simonstown Gaels GFC. I will also always remember him for the odd flutter on the ponies, and making sandwiches with the 'Winning Post' sliced pan from nearby Spicers Bakery in Navan. Great memories of him, he always made sure to give us a few pound when we were kids and I will always remember his hearty voice and accent and the energy he radiated when he walked in to the room. I will raise a glass to you today Uncle Michael, rest easy, My Dad is there for you and the rest of those who we have also sadly said goodbye to down through the years. R.I.P Legend, will be sorely missed. God bless you Uncle Michael R.I.P
