I'm very saddened by the news of Michael's death. Sincere sympathy to Rita and family on your sad loss. Michael's smile, his patience and his courtesy brightened up many a grim early September as I collected scores of textbooks from the shop for my classes in Lanesborough Community College. Back then Michael was the shop's stock taker, buyer, accountant and salesman - but above all he was a gentleman businessman who was a real pleasure to deal with. May he rest in eternal peace.
