From a neighbouring street and well respected family, Mickie was a constant in our Connaught side community down through the years and in more recent times walking his little companion on the Canal Banks. Remembering kindly his parents and predeceased siblings.

Im heartbroken to hear of the passing of Mick. From turning turf in gorry bog to the craic in the anglers and the festival bar, from fishing on lough Ree to chatting while walking our dogs, Mickey was a life long friend and neighbour.
