Our condolences on your loss. We feel we were fortunate to have visited Ireland last year and met up with Mike while he was doing some painting outside of his house with the beautiful view.
I could see the resemblance of the Burkett family between him and my mom Hannah. So glad we could meet up with everyone last year and touch base. Again our condolences to all of you on the loss of your brother and uncle and our cousin. RIP

Great sadness we hear of Michael passing , and remembering the many many years we spent with him on the GAA grounds . Mike committement to the young people of Ballyheigue for so many years I am sure is hugely appreciated and the role he played in guiding so many young people as well as being a star goalkeeper in his own right
