Michael (Mike) HANNON

Dear Mary and Family and all the Hannon Family, Pat and Mike Fannon wish to express our sincere condolences on hearing of the passing of Michael. I had slot of great memories of growing up with Michael in Cloverhill, walking to school across the fields in our bare feet to keep our shoes dry ,in the same class , playing football in the playground. Later winning a coutnty minor title with Oran. Socialising in Tom Foxes pub in Roscommon before hitting the dance floors around Roscommon. Michael was a true and loyal friend and will sadly be missed by many people.
May he sleep in the presence of the Lord

I've known Michael Hannon for 35+ years.I was in B +I line and of course as a customs officer we had regular contact.Manys the chat we had about our beloved GAA.An absolute gent Condolences to Mary and all the family.God rest his kindly soul in heaven

I was just so shocked to hear yesterday of your loss. Despite the genuine sadness, I came away yesterday feeling so positive that I had known Mike and had a life-long relationship with him. He was a great neighbour, a wonderful friend, and an honorary 'bigger brother'!

The Close has lost a real character, but he won't be forgotten!!
