We shared great times in pirate radio (IRG) in '78, '79 where Mike was a complete professional, taking very seriously the job of being entertaining. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone, always looking for the bright side.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing.

Mike was a huge influence to me in deciding to go into radio. I remember him well on IRG radio in Galway. I somehow discovered he was a DJ there and I plagued him to get advice on how to be a radio presenter like him. He was always so helpful and gave me great advice.

Condolences to the Mulkerrins, Feeney and Robinson Family. It’s a huge loss for you all. Mike was a legend and he had a fabulous Gra for good music. I worked with him in WCCR in the 80s and again in Galway Bay fm in the 90s. Mike was a perfectionist and was generous with his time always. Rest in peace Mike and keep the tunes spinning in Heaven.

Had the pleasure of working with Mike and Ken on WCCR many years ago. It was Mike who convinced the management to give me a "shot" on-air. Mike was the ultimate professional, great attitude, great personality and an all round decent guy. He will remain one of the real legends on the Galway airwaves.
