Very sad to hear of Mike's passing. I remember him fondly from all our "Summer holidays" in Dermodys as kids. He seemed to only exist in the milking parlour! He was a lovely, gentle man. I used to love getting to bring him over his dinner, all wrapped up in tea towels to keep it warm, especially when I was old enough to drive the jeep myself. I had the pleasure of taking him on a long journey one time i forget where to but it it took a few hours I learned more on that journey about the GAA and farming than i ever thought possible. The craic we had took the misery out of the journey thank you Mike. Sorry we couldnt be at your funeral because we were away. Hope your happy now in heaven its earned and deserved.
