Michael (Mike) TWOMEY

I only heard about Mike's passing this week and I was truly sorry to get this news. I've known Mike and Therese for over thirty years and Mike was very good to me when we worked together in the early days, he was a thorough gentleman. My condolences to Therese and all the family, may his gentle soul rest in peace.

I am so sorry and saddened by Mike's passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Theresa, David and all of you. He will be greatly missed for his terrific sense of humour, his zest for life and quick wit, which he coupled naturally with a warmth that made everyone feel very special.
Mike was an affable and erudite gentleman, and on many an occasion he dealt with, what I thought was a big problem, and he reduced it to manageable proportions in a calm and businesss like manner. He was very approachable and his appreciation of others, together with his ability to be inspirational was a testimony to his character.
Mike, was a truly great person who will live on in our treasured memories - may he rest in peace.

I was informed of Michael’s passing today. We were born in the same year to be next door neighbours. He was my very first friend and I his. My family is resident in Australia and I haven’t had contact with Michael for more than 40 years, but I have never forgotten his kindness and niceness. He was a gift to everyone who met him.
