It's with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Mikey. A gentleman to his fingertips. One of the last four to bring his milk to the creamery site in Cullen after it closed and became a lorry collection point for some years. He joins Con Shine and Mick Walsh, two of the other three at that great creamery site in the sky, which leaves 'yours truely' as the last remaining survivor of the group. Both Mikey and Willie, were decent honest men, straight in their dealings, and whose moral compass were an example to all of us. May the good Lord now reward him for a life well lived. We had some great chats when he visited his sister Margaret and Dan in Rathmore especially during the period when Dan Cronin's magnificent book "In the Shadow of the Paps" was launched in 2001 - very interesting and uplifting conversations.
