I am at a loss of what to write on poor Mooch’s passing. No words I can say will ease the pain but knowing your not alone will hopefully help.

As a child I was always fascinated that he was called mooch. I didn’t know until I was older that his first name was Michael. Mooch is much better. It’s a nickname like him. Its gentler, warmer and brings a smile to your face.

It was always a treat to take a trip to the other side of the city to see the Mooney’s and to see the warm smiles of Mooch and Anne. Those are memories I treasure.

As he used to sing, wrongly, to one of Meatloafs songs, ‘Michael Mooney bless my soul’.

For Anne, the boys, Denise, and everyone feeling the sharpness of Mooch’s passing I shall pray that God's love enfolds you and comforts you through the pain.

Rest in peace Mooch and let gods love embrace you with the warmth and happiness you shared on earth will all that were honoured to meet you and blessed to call you friend.
