It was with deep regret that I learned of the death of Michael. My sincere sympathy to Siobhan, Olivia and Michael's extended family. I had the pleasure of being a member of the management committee of Tralee Sports Centre when Michael was Manager. He had a great love of sport and made a huge contribution to the development of the facilities at the centre. RIP

I remember Michael from the time he was managed in the sports complex..one day I fell and broke on the showers after swimming..michael had a calming effect on a difficult situation and even bended the rules to let my mom into the mens changing rooms to comfort me
