As well as winning many bike races, he made a huge contribution to the Club on a day to day level, and through his business Treaty Distributors, supported the trade. I knew then that Michael was a special person. Every time I had a chat with him over the years I always felt better in myself. Michael will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to have known him.
