So many fond memories of Michael as a friend a neighbour, a confidante and one with great knowledge and the generosity to share same. Manny's the laugh we shared especially at Harvest, Christmas and potato sowing time. Always so kind and welcoming my mother really enjoyed the age old country hospitality which was extended at Murtagh's farm at Baltrasna bridge. Even though Michael's wife May was a Dublin lady she fitted into the country ways like a well fitted glove. I had the pleasure of Michael driving May and I weekly to attend the apostolic society meetings for the missions. He and his beloved wife May and his supportive brother Mattie will never be forgotten on Baltrasna Boreen..Ar dheis dhea go raibh a anam dilis, Michael Resta in pace, Una Mary Quintiliani-Grehan and the late Carlo and the late Ria and our extended family's.
