Mark , Brian , Maxine and all the Naughton family , I only just heard of Michael’s passing and that Carmel passed away not so long ago too . My heartfelt condolences to you all . We moved into no14 a very young couple with small children and Carmel and Michael took us under their wings , they were the best neighbours anyone could ask for . Michael was such a gentleman, quiet but with a great sense of humour and Carmel .. oh god where do I start ?! She meant the world to our boys , she spoiled them rotten ! Every morning she’d call my eldest David , lift him over the fence and bring him into hers to offer him his choice of sweets .. he christened her Carmel sweets and he actually thought that was her name ! Every Christmas she’d invite them into her aladdins cave of santas and make a big fuss of them , they used be besides themselves with excitement ! We’ve so many many happy memories of the two of them . My heartfelt condolences to you all on your loss
