I knew Michael many years ago through his involvement in Ladies Football. He played a huge part in the setting up and development of Roscommon LGFA in the early years as well as representing Roscommon at Connacht and Central Council. May he Rest in Peace

Fondest of memories of our wonderful days and nights with Michael in the development of the LGFA in the seventies. Michael and Anne played a major role in Roscommons development and success in winning the elusive All Ireland in 1978. While we frequently clashed on and off the field with different views, we worked together for the betterment of the game.
