Michael NEARY

I am so sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. Although we never met in person I considered him a great friend. We first were in contact through Ebay and golf memorabilia. Over the past years I would send him programs from the Memorial Tournament in Dublin Ohio. I became worried when I didn’t hear from him this summer. Please accept my condolences. As I sit here at the Irish Featival in Dublin Ohio I will lift a few pints in his memory. I will miss our e-mail exchanges. Rest In Peace my friend. Frank Fraas. Dublin Ohio.

My sincere condolences to all of Michael's, Lord rest him, family and friends. He will be sadly missed in Old Conna Golf Club. He was such a great organiser of general competitions especially the Christmas and away ones.
He was the perfect gentleman.

We were greatly saddened to read about Michael's passing. I had met him initially through the Leinster Golfers Alliance (LGA) and he was a cheery ever present at the check-in and the "afters" wherever the LGA were playing during their Summer Season. We then visited him frequently in his uniquely stocked and well positioned "golfers shop" in Bray, especially his "golfing cards" for special occassions. Finally, with the LGA reduced activity we called to see him in Hyde Park Avenue just for a "chat" and a regrip of a favoured "wedge". We will both miss Michael and think of him with great fondness.
