Mike, you were a really dear friend and we miss you so very much. It was such a shock to hear of your tragic passing that it’s only now that I can even bear to write this for you.
Every time I will walk into the Hibernia I will expect to see you there with your pint waiting for a good old chat with the locals. I loved to chat with you about all and everything, have the laughs and I learned so much about the history of Bray from you also.
I will always cherish your memory and I will never ever forget you. Have a lovely peaceful rest now my dear dear friend,

I have many fond memories of Michael when he was stage manager for my mother Annette Hynes ballet displays - his guidance and calm presence was crucial to keeping the show on the road. May he rest in peace.
