So sorry to hear of Michaels death. He was a true gentleman and our postman when we lived in bullhill.

So sad to lose our favourite postman. Always happy and in good form, interested in everyone,loved our dogs. Michael will be dearly missed.

We were shocked to learn of Michael’s passing today. He was truly a lovely person and a pleasure to know. Michael always went out of his way for people, only recently he left a note in my letterbox saying he had seen on Facebook that a credit card in my name was found with items left into SVP. That just shows how he always thought of others. He will be greatly missed. Our Condolences to his partner and his family. May you rest in peace Michael.

My deepest sympathies to Michael’s partner Tony, to his adoring family, to his close friends and to all who knew him and loved him. Talking to friends the last few days it’s clear how many people Michael knew and how all are shocked and saddened at his untimely passing. I’ve known Michael for about 25 years and a few moments stand out when I remember him. In all of those he was gracious, kind, warm and an absolute gentleman. His company felt like finding a safe harbour to shelter from choppy seas. He was goodness personified. I hope in his time on earth that he fully knew how much and how widely he was loved. RIP

I can't say I knew Michael well, and I have not met him for many years, but I can say that he made a lasting impression when I first met him over 40 years ago. He was a true gentleman. He played & sang at my wedding and I was hoping that he would do the same at my funeral. Alas that will not now happen.
