You will be sadly missed Mick. Deepest sympathies to Ann and the family. A great supporter of handball and a mighty competitor. One of the best referees around. Made everyone laugh and a true gentleman. I learned the tap shot into the corner, left and right, off you. One of his finest qualities, he never had a bad word to say about others. I'll sign of with an ancient Irish saying "Mick, may you rest in peace on the right hand side of Our Lord".

My deepest condolences to Ann and family on the sudden passing of Michael. I first met Michael 26 years ago when he came into the boxing club I was training in. Michael was in his mid 20s and I couldn't believe the power he had while sparing. Michael was very friendly to all of us younger boxers. Then I discovered that Michael was also a handball player and a brother of Anthony who was a top handball player at the time. Throughout the years whenever I met Michael at handball events we would always have a good chat and a laugh. We will miss you Michael. RIP.
